The new wardrobe is more elegant

Project Details:

What the homeowner requested, “renovating an existing wall of wardrobes in the main bedroom. Here, we’d like to replace the 5 doors on the current wardrobes so they are stylistically similar to those used for the kitchen and for the new bespoke bookshelves in the living room. At the center of the wardrobe, we’d also like to remove the existing built-in chest of drawers and replace this with drawers that are flush with the wardrobes on both sides and have doors of a similar style as the new ones”

This new built in wardrobe project took 5 days of carpentry and took 6 days of hand-painting. The style of doors is shaker style.

Materials Used:

MDF, Medium Density Fibre and hand-painted with Egyptian Cotton, ( Eggshell) by Deluxe

What was the room like before?

“The wardrobe before had rather unremarkable doors and an unfortunate set of drawers in the center that jutted out about 10 inches”.

What was the room like after?

“The new ensemble is much more unified and discrete, with more elegant doors and a space above the center to place an artwork”.
