My new bookshelf made my living space cosier
Project Details:
Homeowner needed floor-to-ceiling built in bookshelves in the living room, for a wall 4 meters long.They also needed row of cabinets at the bottom for storage. The style of doors choose was shaker style. This unit took 4 days of carpentry and 5-6 days of hand-painting.
Materials Used:
MDF, Medium Density Fibre and hand-painted with Egyptian Cotton, Eggshell by Deluxe.
What was the room like before?
“The living room space was simply a bare wall before”.
What was the room like after?
“Afterwards, the wall was of course transformed into a larger bookcase (with cupboards underneath). This not only made the room seem cozier; it also provided a practical solution for storing a large amount of books and other materials underneath, such as files and a printer”.
